Wild Rovers

There comes a time in every man's life when he considers where he's been, what he's done and where he's going . That moment comes to both Ross Bodine, after 20 years in the saddle, and his young cowboy buddy, Frank Post, the two decide to rob a bank and settle into a comfortable life in Mexico rather than continue as a pair of Wild Rovers. The robbery of the bank goes as planned for Bodine (William Holden--Stalag 17, Sunset Blvd.) and Post (Ryan O'Neal--Love Story, What's Up Doc?), but they are relentlessly pursued by the sons of their former employer, Walter Buckman (Karl Malden--Patton, A Streetcar Named Desire). In the course of the chase, which stretches from bordello to barroom brawl, Bodine and Post live more than either had in the 20 years before--but find end to the chase far different than they had ever expected.
